This is my Tahsin Project. This month, all students were assigned to practice the recitation of surahs from the Qur’an. For my project, I chose several short surahs, from Surah Al-Kautsar to Surah Al-Lahab.
The main goal of this project is to understand the meanings and messages of these surahs. I learned the translation of each surah and tried to reflect on their lessons. These surahs teach about gratitude to Allah, sincerity in worship, seeking protection from evil, and the consequences for those who reject the truth.
The duration of my recitation is about 4 minutes, and I recorded it in my classroom. Because of that, the audio might be a little bit noisy, but it still shows the focus and effort I put into this project.
Through this experience, I learned that the Qur’an is not only meant to be recited, but also to be understood and practiced in daily life. Understanding the meanings of these short surahs helped me feel closer to the Qur’an and made this project very meaningful for me.
